This course teaches practical methods to keep projects on schedule and on budget. You will learn how to measure progress, forecast outcomes, and take corrective action before problems escalate. The content links scheduling, cost data and change control so decisions reflect real project status. Exercises use real formats and tools you can apply immediately on live projects.
1. Calculate and interpret Earned Value metrics (EV, PV, AC, CPI, SPI) and produce clear performance reports.
2. Build integrated time-cost baselines using resource-loaded schedules and budgeted cost accounts.
3. Prepare justified forecasts (EAC, ETC) and short-term lookaheads to support decision making.
4. Implement change-control workflows that trace scope changes to schedule and cost impacts.
5. Identify schedule and cost risks early and apply mitigation actions to reduce their effect on delivery.

- Participants are expected to engage in guided self-study, reading, or personal reflection on the day’s content. This contributes toward the CPD accreditation and deepens conceptual understanding.

Please Note:
- All training sessions are conducted from Monday to Friday, following the standard working week observed in the United Kingdom and European Union. Saturday and Sunday are official weekends and are not counted as part of the course duration.
- Coffee and refreshments are available on a floating basis throughout the morning. Participants may help themselves at their convenience to ensure an uninterrupted learning experience Provided if applicable and subject to course delivery arrangements.
